SBS China – PhD Opportunities for Candidates from China

The PhD Programme in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Padua offers dedicated opportunities for candidates from the People’s Republic of China within an international and research-intensive environment.

Positions and Funding

Each year, the Programme offers:

• 4 positions reserved for candidates from China, supported by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) 
• additional positions available through the standard PhD selection procedure of the University of Padua

Training and Research

The PhD Programme provides advanced training in biomedical sciences through:

• supervised research projects in internationally active laboratories
• participation in courses, seminars and international conferences
• access to a multidisciplinary scientific environment

Research activities are mainly carried out at the Vallisneri Complex, which hosts the Department of Biomedical Sciences and collaborates with other research centres in Padua.
