The laboratory seeks a motivated postdoctoral researcher to take forward a project which combines electrophysiology and optogenetics in acute brain slices to investigate the mechanisms underlying dysfunctional regulation of cortical excitatory-inhibitory balance and increased susceptibility to cortical spreading depression in the migraine mouse models available in the lab.The candidate must have a PhD in a relevant subject, theoretical understanding and practical knowledge of electrophysiology and data analysis demonstrated by an adequate publication record.
