Two Postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratory of Prof. Antonella Viola, Department of Biomedical Sciences, University of Padua and Venetian Institute of Molecular Medicine. The lab studies signals modulating immune responses in pathophysiological conditions. Current projects focus on two areas:

(1) Mechanism of action of Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSC) in the treatment of inflammatory disease

(2) Molecular signaling leading to the orchestration of phagocytic synapses

Candidates should have an expected or recently earned Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree, and experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology and mouse models. Prior experience with cytofluorimetry, microscopy and live-cell imaging is desirable.
