Research Fellow of CNR (National Research Council) 1973-1974, Established Researcher of CNR 1974-1988, First Researcher of CNR (1988- 2001) and Research Director (2001- 2011).
Research Associate in the Department of Molecular Biology, Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee (USA): 1980-1981.
Teaching activity: Dr. Bindoli has always been teaching since 1977. Professor on Annual Contract of courses on Chemistry and Biochemistry for Medicine and Dentistry students and in the Schools of Specialization in Radiology, Ophthalmology and Clinical Biochemistry. He also teaches in Master courses on “People nutrition and food education” (first level) and “ Food quality and safety” (second level) of the University of Padova.
Scientific activity: The major research interests are:
a) Biochemistry of sulfhydryl groups and free radicals.
b) Redox regulation of cell signaling in cultured cells and mitochondria.
Up to now (May 29, 2014) the scientific production includes 228 publications divided into 118 full papers (84 cited in Pub Med), 105 meeting communications (many upon invitation), 4 papers on science education and 1 book.
